Image
Hi everyone! I'd like to give a huge thank you to all the amazing people and companies that help make Junkie fest 2019 happen.  These generous sponsors are donating time, prizes and products and I'm so grateful.  Their support is so very, very, appreciated.  I couldn't possibly pull this event off without their incredible help. This is the current list of Junkie fest 2019 sponsors.  As long as the list is today, I know it will get longer over the next few weeks.  I'll keep updating and re-sharing as it grows.  Please return the support to them,  by reading their blogs, buying and using their products and tagging them on social media.  Send along a little note of appreciation with your next order, and let them know how fantastic they are.  Because they truly are amazingly generous!  I'm truly blessed by their response and can't wait for attendees to be able to be introduced to, spend time with, and enjoy these kind people and fabulou...

Junkie fest 2019 Pre-Registration Info

Image
Registration doesn't begin until Monday at 7pm ct, but like last year, I want to share some information on how the Monday's registration process will work.  This year's registration process is quite different from last year's.  Because of the many variables with this year's event, using Paypal buttons in my blog post just wasn't going to be a reliable option.  This year, I am using a separate, hosted, event registration site.  I spent much of the last few weeks building the registration page, trying to address all the possible schedule combinations and conflicts, in the hopes that registration can happen as quickly, easily and smoothly as possible. Unfortunately there is just no way to allow PayPal payments, at all, on the registration site. The registration site allows payments from branded, (meaning, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), credit cards, debit cards or gift cards only.  I admit, I totally misunderstood what I read when I f...

Image
Hello everyone! Thanks for being so patient as I worked out all these bits and pieces. This is the largest Junkie fest yet! It has been quite the labor of love to organize and structure this event. There were "just a few" more details to confirm than there were for the first casual Junkie fest in 2015 at my house that had only 18 attendees! While there may still be a few little tweaks and adjustments in these details over the next few months, I finally have the information you have been waiting for. For those that just want the facts: June 26 -29, 2019 A 3-1/2 day package-only event, offering: a group class package of 12 hours of class instruction class products 8 meals Make and Takes gifts and prizes Event fee $665 Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center Plymouth, Minnesota, located approximately 30 minutes northwest of the MSP airport (Please don't panic! Just a Quick Junkie fest 2019 Overview

Image
There's been a lot of chatter lately, with accompanying speculation about Junkie fest 2019. While I do apologize for the delay in getting preliminary information out, there's just been so many pieces to this puzzle that have been slowly coming together, and will be continuing to come together in the next several weeks.  However, there are a few things that I CAN share now so you can do a bit of travel/airfare research, contemplating and saving. The most common feedback comment I heard regarding last year's event was that there were just too many activities crammed into too little time!  Attendees were giddy from exhaustion by Saturday night last year. I sure was! Yet at the same time, none of us really wanted it to end, either.   Junkie fest 2019 will be a three and a half day event.   One  more day allows for two more classes, a bit more relaxed pace event and opportunities for more social time. Junkie fest 2019 will again be held in the M...
